Front Office Host

About the role

As the Front Office Host at Conscious Hotels Vondelpark, you will be the welcoming face of the hotel, handling guest arrivals, self‑check‑in assistance, and providing local tips. You will also serve coffee and tea, manage bar interactions, and promote sustainable products such as bike rentals.

Key responsibilities

• Check‑in and check‑out guests, including support for the self‑check‑in system.
• Offer personalized recommendations for Amsterdam attractions and sustainable services.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to a high standard.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly.
• Promote and sell ancillary services such as bike rentals and eco‑friendly merchandise.
• Maintain a tidy and welcoming front‑desk and bar area.

Required profile

• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Resides in Amsterdam and is available for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Team‑player who can also work independently.
• Experience in international hotels or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to anticipate guest needs.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP (preferred).
