Housekeeping Employee – Amsterdam

About the role

Hotel V is seeking a motivated Housekeeping Employee to join its small, tight‑knit team in Amsterdam. You will be responsible for keeping guest rooms and public areas spotless, ensuring a welcoming environment for every visitor. The role is primarily morning‑shift based and includes weekend work on a set, flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors to the hotel’s standards.
• Make beds, replace linens, and replenish amenities.
• Report any maintenance issues and ensure rooms are ready for new guests.
• Follow health and safety procedures while handling cleaning equipment.
• Collaborate with fellow housekeepers to maintain a smooth workflow.

Required profile

• Energetic, physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Friendly, service‑oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Resides in the Amsterdam area and is available for mornings and weekends.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
