Housekeeping Supervisor Intern

About the role

The July is looking for a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor Intern at its ID Aparthotel in Amsterdam. This is not a passive "watch and learn" internship: you will actively support the daily coordination of the housekeeping department, from morning briefings to being on the floor checking rooms and solving operational issues.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in morning briefings with the housekeeping manager and supervisors, reviewing priorities such as arrivals, departures, long-stay guests and special requests
• Check rooms during the day, support the team and help solve operational challenges
• Work closely with external staff and supervisors, communicating clearly, giving feedback and ensuring everyone follows the standards
• Develop a strong eye for detail and understand what "hotel-ready" means: consistent, efficient and guest-focused

Required profile

• Natural host who anticipates needs
• Vibrant personality
• Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch
• Able to work independently and as a team player
• Based in Amsterdam
