Improvement Lead – Packaging

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on, people‑centered process thinker to lead strategic improvement initiatives within our Packaging department at the Boxmeer Animal Health site. Reporting to the IPT Lead, you will manage a portfolio of projects that span new product introductions, process optimisation, automation and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the 13‑member Improvement Team, fostering skills for future ways of working.
• Govern the project portfolio, prioritising initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality and safety.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma, data‑analysis and structured problem‑solving to stabilise and improve packaging processes.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance & Reliability, Quality, IT and Supply Chain to deliver sustainable improvements.
• Promote a data‑driven culture through dashboards, KPI reviews and performance routines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business Administration).
• Proven experience leading improvement projects in pharma, food or chemical production.
• Strong coaching and influencing skills across functions.
• Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, residing near Boxmeer.
