Insurance Strategy Manager/Director

About the role

Join PwC's Insurance practice in Amsterdam as a Manager or Director and lead transformational change for top insurers, brokers and reinsurers. You will shape strategies that drive digital transformation, growth, operational excellence and underwriting innovation across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clients with objective, data‑driven advice on complex insurance and broking challenges.
• Own project delivery, from developing storylines and analyses to managing teams and client interactions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional experts across the PwC network to bridge strategy and execution.
• Drive business development, thought‑leadership creation and expand the firm’s footprint through your network.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in financial services, preferably within a strategy consultancy or corporate strategy function.
• Deep knowledge of insurance industry trends and strategic themes.
• Proven track record of winning and managing high‑stakes engagements with C‑suite executives.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to progress toward partnership.
