Integration Project Manager (M&A)

About the role

Destinus, a provider of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for defence, is looking for an Integration Project Manager to own post-acquisition integrations from signing through to steady state. The role does not own Legal, Finance, HR, IT or Operations, but owns the plan that brings them together. It is a hands-on program management position for someone who can navigate complexity, challenge delays and keep multiple workstreams moving.

Key responsibilities

• Build and own the master integration plan for each acquisition, connecting workstreams, milestones, dependencies and owners
• Drive integration governance through steering committee updates, RAID logs, decision tracking and reporting
• Coordinate workstream leads across Legal, Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Facilities, Security and Communications
• Lead Day 1 readiness planning for people, systems, contracts, facilities and communications
• Identify risks, blockers and dependencies early and track cost and revenue synergies against the deal plan
• Act as the central coordination point for the acquired company and run structured close-out reviews
• Build and improve the integration playbook, templates and governance model

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in program or project management, ideally with at least one full-cycle M&A integration
• Background in consulting, PMO, operations, corporate development or a similar cross-functional environment
• Experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs and stakeholder management across functions and seniorities
• Fluent English; additional languages, aerospace, defence or regulated industry experience, and PMP/PROSCI certification are advantages
