Internship – Enable Execution of 2030 Impact Ambitions

About the role

Join Philips’ Group Sustainability Office to support the Impact Shaper Program, a global initiative driving the company’s 2030 Impact Ambition. You will work in a dynamic, international environment, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to advance sustainability, health equity, and governance projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of Impact Shaper program modules, including scheduling and technical management of virtual and in‑person sessions.
• Engage with program participants and external delivery partners, capture minutes, maintain action trackers, and follow up on progress.
• Contribute ideas to improve participant engagement and program delivery.
• Increase internal visibility of Philips’ Impact Ambitions and identify cross‑team synergies.
• Assist with ad‑hoc sustainability initiatives, conduct market research on global health and social business, and synthesize insights into presentations and reports.

Required profile

• Enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s or a Master’s program (preferred) in Communication, Marketing, Global/Public Health, Health Economics, Sustainable Development or related fields.
• Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills; natural networker and connector.
• Analytical, research‑oriented, independent, hands‑on and eager to learn.
• Relevant experience through internships, extracurricular projects or academic work in global health, sustainability or business.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

What we offer

• Monthly full‑time allowance of €400–€700 gross (pro‑rated for part‑time).
• Housing compensation for relocation (€300 net near Amsterdam, €255 net elsewhere) with proof of rental contract and travel distance criteria.
• Travel compensation up to €145 net for those without a free public transport card.
• Paid holidays for the internship duration and opportunity to purchase Philips equipment.
