Java Solution Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Java Solution Architect to lead technology modernization within our TechNL programs. You will bridge business needs with scalable technical solutions, driving digital transformation across cloud and micro‑services ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Define and design end‑to‑end solution architectures for enterprise applications.
• Lead digital transformation and legacy modernization initiatives.
• Develop technical proposals, support RFPs and contribute to pre‑sales activities.
• Create solution blueprints, identify risks and recommend robust solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews and system evaluations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse existing technology landscapes.
• Drive micro‑services architecture using modern design patterns.
• Ensure implementation of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Work closely with development teams on cloud‑native solutions (Azure).
• Support FinOps practices and optimise cloud usage.

Required profile

• 12+ years of hands‑on experience with Java, J2EE and Spring Boot.
• 5+ years experience in a Solution Architect role.
• Strong knowledge of micro‑services design patterns, digital and cloud transformation, and legacy modernization strategies.
• Proven ability to evaluate architectures, consult on technology, and plan road‑maps.
