Junior Production Engineer

About the role

As a Junior Production Engineer you will work on the factory floor to keep our radar assembly lines running smoothly. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Project Management and Quality to ensure reliable and efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Review and update work instructions, standardising assembly steps under senior guidance.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and software issues, keeping production moving when technical roadblocks arise.
• Document findings in Quality Alerts, execute corrective actions and maintain accurate assembly records.
• Support new product introductions by preparing workstations, documentation and scaling assembly processes.
• Conduct time studies, maintain tools and fixtures, and participate in 5S, Kaizen and safety initiatives.

Required profile

• BA (MBO-4) or BSc in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 1‑3 years experience in high‑tech manufacturing or assembly.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude and strong willingness to learn.
• Team player comfortable working with diverse colleagues.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of electronics, mechatronics, PCBs and electrical diagrams.
• Familiarity with measuring equipment such as oscilloscopes and vector network analyzers (VNAs).
