Junior ServiceNow Developer

About the role

Join PwC’s Core Applications team in Utrecht as a Junior ServiceNow Developer. You will help design, develop, and maintain the ServiceNow platform that supports multiple business areas across the firm, gaining hands‑on experience with the latest IT technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑manage and enhance the ServiceNow platform, ensuring stability and performance.
• Act as the second‑line contact for ServiceNow requests and incidents.
• Handle release management, monitor integrations, and support new functionality roll‑outs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.
• Research and propose process optimisations within the IT landscape.

Required profile

• Passionate about delivering high‑quality ServiceNow solutions.
• Analytical, service‑oriented, and able to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Fluent in English; basic Dutch is acceptable.
• HBO‑level (applied sciences) education or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• ServiceNow platform experience.
• JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON.
• REST APIs and integration knowledge (e.g., MarkLogic).
• Microsoft Azure basics.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITBM, HRSD, Virtual Agent, Service Portal, and Custom Apps.
