Manager Accounting & Reporting Advisory

About the role

PwC’s Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory team is expanding and seeks a Manager to lead complex accounting and financial reporting projects for clients undergoing major change such as IPOs, M&A, or GAAP conversions. You will work within a diverse specialist team, providing high‑quality advice and mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams on technical accounting and capital‑markets engagements, ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
• Manage client relationships, conduct meetings, and act as engagement manager for economics and administration.
• Advise on capital‑market transactions including IPOs, SPAC mergers, carve‑outs, business combinations, private placements and debt offerings.
• Research, analyse and communicate the impact of IFRS, Dutch GAAP, US GAAP and related standards on complex deals.
• Review and present reports to senior managers, directors and partners.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of experience applying IFRS, Dutch GAAP or US GAAP to client issues.
• Proven expertise in at least two areas such as financial instruments, leasing, consolidation, GAAP conversions, fair‑value assessments, revenue recognition or business‑combination regulations.
• Strong project‑management skills with ability to handle multiple dependencies and stakeholders.
