Manager Assurance – Corporate Reporting Services

About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager for its Assurance – Corporate Reporting Services team in Amsterdam. You will support the firm’s assurance practice by providing technical expertise on Dutch GAAP and IFRS, developing tools, and enhancing the quality of financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients and colleagues with complex accounting issues under Dutch GAAP and IFRS.
• Develop tools and guidance to simplify accounting judgments and analyses.
• Perform pre‑issuance reviews of key accounting matters to improve financial statement quality.
• Assist audit teams during proposals, workshops, and the creation of audit work programmes.
• Collaborate with PwC’s global network of corporate reporting specialists.
• Create and deliver training on corporate reporting topics for colleagues and clients.
• Provide ad‑hoc accounting advice to non‑audit clients.

Required profile

• Professional experience in financial audit, risk management, or corporate reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify key discussion points quickly.
• Proactive learner who seeks coaching and embraces diverse viewpoints.
• Fluent written and spoken Dutch and/or English.
• Motivation to develop a specialist network within PwC Netherlands and globally.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Understanding of audit methodology
• Familiarity with corporate reporting standards
