Manager Commercial Due Diligence and Value Creation

About the role

Join PwC's Strategy& Deals team in Amsterdam as a Manager leading Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) and Value Creation initiatives. You will work at the heart of high‑stakes transactions, helping private equity investors, corporates and entrepreneurs shape investment decisions and post‑deal growth strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead CDD and deal‑strategy engagements, covering market sizing, growth forecasting, competitive positioning, customer/channel analysis and business‑model assessment.
• Translate investment questions into focused work plans, steer primary and secondary research, and build robust analytical fact bases.
• Develop clear, board‑level recommendations for investment committees and senior executives.
• Collaborate with PwC specialists across the Netherlands and internationally, coaching junior staff and managing workstreams.
• Contribute to the growth of the Strategy& Deals practice by developing sector insights, client relationships and service propositions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a strategy consultant, deal‑strategy professional or corporate strategy/M&A specialist at a senior level.
• Strong hypothesis‑driven problem‑solving ability and a track record of delivering client impact.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the capacity to help build and scale a practice.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
