Managing Director – Netherlands

About the role

EOS Group is expanding its presence in the Netherlands and seeks an entrepreneurial Managing Director to shape and grow the EOS Netherlands business unit. Reporting directly to the EOS Group Board, you will define strategy, allocate capital and drive performance across both unsecured and secured non‑performing loan (NPL) portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a fresh strategic direction and operating model aligned with EOS Group objectives.
• Build the EOS Netherlands organization from the ground up, including teams, processes and systems.
• Identify, negotiate and manage investment opportunities in the Dutch market.
• Oversee the full deal lifecycle, from sourcing to closing and post‑deal performance monitoring.
• Establish and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, partners and advisors.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management across all activities.
• Recruit, motivate and develop a high‑performance team.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the EOS Board.
• Drive innovation, digitalisation and new growth opportunities.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in NPL investments, distressed debt, real estate finance, investment banking or related fields.
• Proven track record of building organisations or business units, preferably in start‑up or market‑entry contexts.
• Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Law or Business Administration; MBA, CFA or equivalent is a plus.
• Deep understanding of the Dutch financial market and regulatory environment.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire and align cross‑functional teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical and fact‑based decision‑making skills.
