Manufacturing Operator – USP/DSP & Fill & Finish

About the role

Join Johnson & Johnson's fully digital Lenti Viral Vector Facility in Sassenheim, supporting cell expansion, virus production, purification and automated filling under GMP and BSL2 conditions. This role offers strong growth opportunities through training, mentoring and clear career paths.

Key responsibilities

• Support installation and operation of new equipment, create job breakdown sheets and work instructions.
• Execute daily tasks in USP, DSP and Fill & Finish departments according to procedures and schedules.
• Perform process and GMP documentation, raise deviations and address process gaps.
• Train operators and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

Required profile

• Preferably MBO 4 or HBO in laboratory & biotechnology, biochemistry, biomedicine, process technology or equivalent with biotech/biopharma experience.
• Hands‑on expertise in a BSL2 environment focusing on cell culture, virus propagation, purification or Fill & Finish, adhering to GMP and EHS standards.
• Strong English communication skills, analytical ability and high accuracy.
• Proactive, adaptable team player willing to work flexible shifts.
