Medior/Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Medior/Senior Data Engineer to shape the performance and architecture of XITE’s modern data stack. You will work with Airflow, Kafka, Python and Kubernetes to build scalable, high‑impact data solutions, collaborating closely with engineering, product and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, scale and maintain ETL processes and Airflow pipelines in production.
• Own end‑to‑end data quality for core datasets and pipelines.
• Design data models, tables and storage architecture to improve query performance across business domains.
• Review, refactor and extend distributed systems, providing support for integration with other teams.
• Maintain technical excellence of data and software engineering practices.
• Work with product managers and stakeholders to prioritize and execute the data engineering backlog.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, Software Engineer or similar role working with large‑scale data systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
