Merchant II – Training Apparel Merchandising

About the role

The Merchant II will support the EMEA Training Apparel Merchandising team in shaping vision, strategy and product assortment across the region. Reporting to the Director, this role collaborates with Geo, Global and Channel Merchandising, DSM, Marketing, Consumer Insights and Marketplace teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategy and ideation, build product assortments and contribute to line planning.
• Use data and analytics to drive end‑to‑end profitability and make recommendations.
• Assist Lead and Senior Merchants throughout the seasonal CODE process and communicate product updates to Marketplace and Nike Direct partners.
• Create, maintain and share accurate seasonal information, including coordination of product samples.

Required profile

• Experience in retail, merchandising, product management, marketplace, sales, buying or a related field.
• Demonstrated understanding of consumer needs and marketplace dynamics with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret business performance, consumer insights and trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, team‑first attitude.
