NetSuite Systems Engineer

About the role

As a Financial Systems Engineer you will join DoiT’s Business Systems Engineering team, responsible for building and operating the company’s core financial platforms. The position is fully remote, supporting teams in the United States (Eastern time), the United Kingdom or Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and configure NetSuite (and upcoming FloQast) including core modules, custom records, workflows and SuiteFlow automations.
• Identify repetitive finance operations such as month‑end close, reconciliations or procure‑to‑pay and automate them using scripting, saved searches or low‑code tools.
• Define and maintain business‑logic and canonical data definitions for the finance domain in partnership with engineering.
• Build and maintain cross‑system integrations on a version‑controlled integration platform rather than ad‑hoc scripts.
• Act as the dedicated systems partner for Finance and Accounting, translating requirements into system capabilities and overseeing vendor onboarding.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of hands‑on NetSuite administration, including configuration, customization, roles, permissions and SuiteFlow development.
• Solid understanding of core finance processes (month‑end close, reconciliations, AP/ procure‑to‑pay, revenue).
• Proven track record of automating manual tasks using scripting, saved searches, workflow automation or iPaaS tools.
• Ability to work with SuiteScript, SQL or other API‑based automation languages and to read integration code.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with both finance and engineering teams.
