Operational Coach – Blend & Fill Facility (Start-up Phase)

About the role

You will build the future operating team and digital manufacturing culture for a next‑generation, paperless Blend & Fill facility at MSD’s Animal Health site in Boxmeer. The role combines people leadership, operational readiness, and hands‑on involvement in start‑up activities.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, train and develop operators, establishing team structures, shift patterns and clear accountabilities.
• Coach operators to work in a fully paperless environment, driving adoption of MES, electronic batch records and data‑driven workflows.
• Support development and implementation of operational processes, standards and training programs to ensure safe, compliant, right‑first‑time execution.
• Promote a safety‑first, quality‑first culture and ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, data integrity and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in Engineering, Process Technology, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Operations Management or related field.
• Proven experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (pharma, biotech, food, chemical, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and coach operational teams, preferably in a start‑up or transformation setting.
• Strong understanding of GMP, EHS and quality systems.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
