Operational Production Planner

About the role

Cross Border Talents is recruiting an Operational Production Planner for one of its clients in the Netherlands, a Dutch agency specialising in the recruitment and relocation of technical specialists. The client is an international innovation leader in the semiconductor industry. The planner reports to the Production Logistics team lead and works in a two-shift operation, representing the Production Logistics department in lean and progress meetings of all work centres.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and adjust production activities operationally
• Control material availability based on the progress of one or more work centres
• Represent Production Logistics in lean and progress meetings of work centres
• Manage factory logistics by initiating picking requisitions to the warehouse, monitoring progress and handling administration
• Act as a logistics trouble-shooter to avoid disruptions to production
• Analyse and optimise material control, material planning and parameters through improvement projects, and contribute to better delivery performance

Required profile

• 1-5 years of logistics work experience
• Bachelor's degree in logistics or business studies
• Ability to take initiative and responsibility for departmental tasks
• Strong communicator, structured and well-organised team player
• EU citizenship or eligibility to live and work in the Netherlands

Required skills

• Familiarity with SAP ERP
