People Operations Lead

About the role

Fastned is expanding its European EV charging network and needs a People Operations Lead to build a robust HR backbone. You will own the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle across multiple EU markets, ensuring a seamless experience for every colleague.

Key responsibilities

• Drive governance and strategic oversight of the employee lifecycle across all EU locations.
• Maintain consistent, compliant HR processes that scale with rapid market expansion.
• Optimize the HiBob HRIS for data integrity, compliance and actionable reporting.
• Lead a team of People Ops Specialists, an EV Fleet Manager and a Payroll Lead with two Payroll Specialists.
• Partner with external payroll providers to ensure accurate multi‑country payroll execution.
• Champion continuous improvement and automation of HR and payroll workflows.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading People Operations or HR teams in a multi‑country environment.
• Strong passion for HR process design, payroll architecture and employee experience.
• Hands‑on leadership style, willing to work alongside the team during high‑pressure periods.
• Ability to translate strategic HR goals into operational execution.
