Postdoctoral researcher – FAIR Linked Data for Social Sciences & Humanities

About the role

The User-Centric Data Science group (UCDS) is seeking three postdoctoral researchers to advance FAIR Linked Data infrastructures for the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH). You will work within two national interdisciplinary projects, SSHOC‑NL and Macroscope, collaborating with leading scholars to make research data, workflows and tools findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable.

Key responsibilities

• Publish research results in international peer‑reviewed conferences and journals.
• Design and implement FAIR methods and tools for SSH research infrastructures.
• Teach or assist in Bachelor and Master programmes and supervise students.
• Contribute to project milestones, deliverables, and project management activities such as workshop organisation.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience with research in the social sciences and/or humanities.
• Experience with knowledge‑graph and Linked Data technologies.
• Strong programming proficiency.
• Excellent communication skills in English; management skills are a plus.
