Principal Delivery Engineer – Mechanical

About the role

As a Principal Delivery Engineer you will shape and deliver the technical vision for Global Switch’s capital projects, ensuring solutions are robust, innovative and aligned with business objectives and industry standards. You will provide expert technical leadership, oversight and coordination across all stages of engineering design and delivery for multiple campuses and regions.

Key responsibilities

• Define comprehensive technical specifications and project briefs with clear, measurable requirements.
• Lead and coordinate engineering design and delivery activities across multiple sites.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Directors, site‑based technical operations teams and project engineers to share lessons learned and maintain design consistency.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams as needed.
• Ensure quality assurance and engineering excellence throughout project lifecycles.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in mechanical engineering within large‑scale infrastructure or capital projects.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex, globally connected projects.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional and multi‑site stakeholders.
• Commitment to precision, impact and continuous evolution in engineering practice.
