Procurement Analyst 2

About the role

Responsible for managing inventory and the operational and tactical procurement of goods and services, while providing advice to internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor the flow of goods and services to ensure efficient business processes.
• Perform accurate administrative work related to purchase orders.
• Select and consult suppliers, place purchase orders and negotiate price, quality and delivery conditions.
• Handle complaints, damage claims and credit notes.
• Manage operational‑level contracts and ensure compliance with quality requirements and supplier certifications.
• Provide relevant information and advice to various departments.
• Initiate improvement processes concerning supplier/buyer relationships to reduce costs and improve supply chain.

Required profile

• Experience in supply chain management and procurement within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Desirable experience in international trade and supply chain management.
• Higher professional education or at least five years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work in an office environment with occasional time in warehouses or engineering departments.
• Willingness to work extensive hours using a personal computer and relevant software.
