Product Manager – Embedded Hardware

About the role

Join Aquablu’s Physical Product team as a Product Manager (Embedded Hardware) responsible for the REFILL+ flagship product, installed across thousands of sites. You will own the roadmap, resolve field issues, and drive hardware improvements from signal to shipped.

Key responsibilities

• Own the feature and release roadmap for firmware and hardware, balancing stability, commercial priorities, and strategic direction.
• Drive root‑cause analysis and shipped fixes for field issues, collaborating with firmware and mechanical engineering.
• Translate customer service, quality, and field feedback into prioritized, actionable tickets.
• Define and track product KPIs such as uptime, dispense accuracy, and error rates.
• Own firmware certification and EU directive compliance for connected hardware.

Required profile

• Degree in mechatronics, product design, electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 3+ years in hardware development or product management for consumer or B2B devices.
• Ability to read and write firmware specs, hardware schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience navigating the full product lifecycle from design through production and field deployment.
• Strong project coordination skills to keep firmware, hardware, and quality workstreams moving without a dedicated project manager.
• Strong prioritisation instincts balancing live field issues with long‑term roadmap work.
