Product Owner

About the role

You will own the space between what we want to build and what our customers are asking for. By understanding both sides, you will make defensible decisions, document them clearly, and see them through to delivery. This is not a backlog‑administration or project‑management role – it is about translating stakeholder symptoms into concrete, actionable product requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product backlog end‑to‑end, decide what gets built next and why, and keep the development team aligned.
• Conduct deep business analysis to uncover the real problem, underlying processes, constraints and edge cases beyond the initial request.
• Design solutions by mapping business processes, defining logic, handling edge cases, and producing clear specifications for the team.
• Run the product rhythm: refinement, planning and acceptance together with an international team and Dutch clients.

Required profile

• Proven Product Owner experience in a software product environment, including backlog ownership and direct collaboration with developers.
• Strong business analysis and solution‑design capabilities – core to the role.
• Excellent written and spoken English (non‑negotiable) for client interaction.
• Comfort with technology and a proactive, default‑on‑action mindset.
