Property Operations Associate

About the role

The Property Operations Associate supports the community’s marketing and leasing strategy to maximise occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction. The role involves handling all leasing activities, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to property promotion and events.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by responding promptly to resident inquiries and resolving issues.
• Manage the full leasing cycle: greet prospects, qualify leads, conduct tours, process applications, perform credit and background checks, prepare leases and move‑in packages.
• Maintain property standards during viewings, follow up with prospects and collect feedback.
• Record and maintain resident files, notes and documentation using property management software.
• Use Yardi (or similar) to track apartment availability, leasing activity and resident data.
• Support marketing initiatives, attend university open days, organise events and monitor competitor activity.

Required profile

• Good general education with proficiency in property operation systems (training provided).
• Fluent English (both written and spoken); Dutch language skills are a plus.
• Strong customer‑service background, preferably in sales, hospitality or membership environments.
• Ability to build relationships, communicate culturally aware and negotiate effectively.
• Proactive problem‑solver with attention to detail and the capacity to work autonomously.

Required skills

• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software.
• Competence in using social media platforms and online tools for research and presentation.
