Property Operations Associate

About the role

A full-time Property Operations Associate in Diemen, North Holland, supports the community's marketing and lease-up strategy to achieve occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals. The role covers all leasing activities and related tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and letting: greet and qualify prospects, give property tours, show apartments and handle applications, credit screening and criminal background checks.
• Prepare the lease and move-in package and ensure a smooth move-in and lease signing.
• Manage viewings, follow up on calls and collect feedback after each viewing.
• Support lease renewals: prepare renewal letters and packages, contact renewing residents before move-out and make sure documents are signed and implemented on time.
• Provide excellent customer service, respond quickly to resident concerns and escalate requests to the right people.
• Complete all documentation, records and file notes, and use property management software such as Yardi to track availability, traffic and leasing activity and manage resident and prospect data.
• Organise community-building initiatives, events and other activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards, report safety issues and keep up with industry changes through training.

Required profile

• Good general education.
• Significant experience in a sales (or host) role in a similar accommodation, hospitality, leisure or reservations/membership environment.
• Excellent customer service skills, organisation skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Numerical skills and proficiency with social media and online tools for research.
• Desirable: Bachelor (HBO) level education or equivalent experience (Hotel School/Facility Management) and knowledge of landlord/tenant legislation.
