QA Engineer (Web, App & Payments)

About the role

We're looking for a QA Engineer to own quality across our web funnels, mobile app, and payment flows. As the last line of defence before every release, you decide whether we ship and ensure fast iteration never compromises a broken checkout or a stuck subscription. You will work closely with backend, frontend and Flutter developers as well as the Funnel Ops team, using AI‑enabled tools to generate test cases and accelerate bug reproduction.

Key responsibilities

• Own release QA by building test plans, regression suites and making the go/no‑go decision for each release.
• Validate critical end‑to‑end flows such as onboarding, paywalls, checkout, payments and subscription state transitions.
• Reproduce, document and coordinate bug fixes with engineering, then verify resolutions before shipping.
• Grow automation coverage by creating UI tests, maintaining release checklists and reducing escaped defects.
• Classify bug severity, define escalation paths and document QA processes and playbooks in Confluence.
• Leverage AI‑enabled tooling to speed up test case generation, bug reproduction and script writing.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in QA or test engineering for web and/or mobile products.
• Hands‑on experience testing payment and subscription flows with providers such as Stripe, Adyen or PayPal.
• Proven ability to build automated UI tests using Playwright, Cypress or Selenium in JavaScript/TypeScript and to troubleshoot flaky tests.
• Experience testing mobile applications (including Flutter) on real device clouds like BrowserStack or LambdaTest.
• Comfortable working with REST and GraphQL APIs, verifying data and analytics events.
• Strong bug reporting skills with clear reproduction steps and severity assessment.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
