Qualified Educator – Early Learning Centre

About the role

We are seeking a Qualified Educator to lead engaging learning programs for children aged six weeks to five years at our Early Learning Centre. This full‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term position supports each child’s growth, builds strong family partnerships, and contributes to a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate individual learning and development programs, maintaining accurate records.
• Support daily care routines and create a safe, stimulating environment for children.
• Lead by example, mentoring team members and students.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families and staff.
• Ensure compliance with centre policies, regulations and day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Diploma of Children’s Services recognised by the Education and Care Regulatory Unit.
• Substantial experience as a Qualified Child Care Giver working with children 0‑5 years.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and knowledge of current child‑care regulations and accreditation requirements.
• Experience independently implementing, monitoring and evaluating developmental programs.
• Current Working with Children Check and willingness to undergo employment checks.

• Base salary $81,641 – $86,908 per annum (pro‑rata) plus 17 % superannuation.
