About the role
As a Research Analyst on INSO’s Global Analysis Team, you will support senior humanitarian decision‑makers by delivering tailored analysis, briefings and regular reports on safety and security trends in insecure contexts. The role focuses on turning real‑time incident data into actionable insights that help NGOs operate safely.
Key responsibilities
- Produce bespoke analytical reports addressing strategic priorities of humanitarian programmes.
- Prepare and deliver briefings for senior staff and partner organisations.
- Monitor and assess safety‑related challenges using INSO’s incident tracking and mapping tools.
- Contribute to the development of regular safety dashboards and thematic studies.
- Collaborate with the Global Analysis Team to ensure data quality and relevance.
Required profile
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in research or data‑driven environments.
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to senior decision‑makers.
- Interest in humanitarian safety, security and crisis management.
