Restructuring & Turnaround Management – Manager

About the role

Eight Advisory is seeking a Manager in Restructuring & Turnaround Management to lead engagements for distressed companies. Based in Amsterdam, you will guide teams through diagnostics, financial restructuring, and operational turnarounds while supporting business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead restructuring projects from diagnostics to implementation of financial and operational turnaround strategies.
• Oversee preparation and validation of detailed financial and operational analyses, including liquidity forecasts, financial models, and restructuring plans.
• Act as a key advisor in negotiations with creditors, investors, and shareholders.
• Develop and present restructuring options and strategies to clients, ensuring alignment with their financial objectives.
• Manage project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of professional growth.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and cross‑functional projects that contribute to the firm’s growth and service expansion.
• Drive business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and expanding client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements related to restructuring engagements.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field from a top‑tier institution.
• More than 4 years of experience in restructuring, corporate finance, transaction services or financial advisory, with proven leadership capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to be based in Amsterdam with occasional international travel.
