Rotating Equipment Supervisor – Green Hydrogen Project

About the role

As part of a major industrial green‑hydrogen project in Europe, you will be based in the Netherlands and take responsibility for supervising and monitoring all rotating‑equipment activities on site. You will work closely with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure the successful installation, alignment, and commissioning of critical machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation, alignment, and commissioning of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors and turbines.
• Monitor subcontractors’ work and verify compliance with technical specifications and applicable standards.
• Participate in mechanical completion, performance testing and start‑up activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to rotating machinery.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE regulations on site.
• Prepare progress and activity reports for management.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years experience supervising rotating equipment in industrial environments (oil & gas, energy, petrochemical).
• Experience on Greenfield projects.
• Strong knowledge of rotating machinery (pumps, compressors, turbines).
• Fluency in English and ability to work on‑site.
