Sales Manager – Energy Storage Solutions

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious Sales Manager to drive growth of our Energy Storage Solutions in a dedicated vertical across Europe. Based in Utrecht, you will own relationships, build pipelines and close deals that align with clients’ sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own a vertical‑specific go‑to‑market strategy.
• Prospect, engage and convert clients, maintain a healthy pipeline and update CRM daily.
• Tailor battery storage solutions to meet client energy needs and sustainability objectives.
• Collaborate with Proposals and Solutions Engineering to communicate technical aspects to clients.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients and understand their unique challenges.
• Monitor industry trends, market dynamics and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
• Provide market feedback to leadership and ensure smooth hand‑over to Project Management and Asset Management for after‑sales care.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years B2B experience in the energy sector, preferably in battery storage or renewable energy.
• Familiarity with energy systems, sustainability or smart infrastructure.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch.
• Strong understanding of Dutch energy markets, regulations and trends.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Flexibility and passion for a fast‑paced start‑up environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.
