Senior Consultant Performance and Restructuring

About the role

Join PwC’s Performance and Restructuring team in Rotterdam as a Senior Consultant. You will help under‑performing Dutch and European companies identify the best path forward, whether through turnaround strategies, operational restructuring, refinancing, accelerated M&A or insolvency processes.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on performance improvement, restructuring, refinancing, M&A and insolvency options.
• Develop and implement turnaround strategies for family‑run firms to large listed multinationals.
• Collaborate with junior, senior and partner‑level colleagues across Tax, Assurance and Deals teams.
• Maintain direct client contact and liaise with banks, private‑equity firms and insolvency trustees.
• Contribute to all phases of restructuring projects, gaining broad exposure to operational and financial aspects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance, economics, business, law or a technical field.
• Minimum two years of relevant consulting or finance experience.
• Strong communication, analytical and listening skills.
• Ability to work under uncertainty and changing dynamics.
• Team player with a consultant mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
• Fluent English (Dutch preferred).
