Senior Value Engineer - Public Sector

About the role

As a Senior Value Engineer you will spearhead AI and data‑driven business transformation within the public sector in the Netherlands, contributing to the end‑to‑end value journey using the Celonis Context Model. Working alongside Lead and Principal Value Engineers you will blend technical execution with consulting and project‑management expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Value Selling & Realization – uncover complex organisational issues, own outcomes from discovery to ROI, and craft executive narratives and workshops.
• Stakeholder Management – build executive sponsorship, co‑own change management and design Centre‑of‑Excellence roadmaps.
• Program Management – steer global transformations, implement AI‑driven account planning and automate governance processes.
• Platform & AI Fluency – act as an AI‑fluent operator, using AI tools for rapid outputs while collaborating on deep‑dive solution builds.
• Scale Value & Innovation – develop strategic expansion roadmaps, embed Celonis as a core platform and feed customer use‑cases back to R&D.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience owning complex workstreams, process areas and customer relationships in value engineering, consulting or pre‑sales.
• Strong background in enterprise IT and business software (e.g., SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle) with an AI‑fluent mindset.
• Builder mentality – self‑directed, proactive in hunting high‑impact solutions and delivering customer value.
• Proven expertise in process improvement, strategic program and stakeholder management across multi‑region transformations.
• Fluent in English and Dutch with executive presence and deep knowledge of public‑sector trends.
