Service Technician Electrical Offshore

About the role

Join Omexom Renewable Energies Offshore in Assen as a Service Technician Electrical Offshore. You will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting and repairing electrical components on both offshore and onshore substations, ensuring wind farms operate safely and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect and repair electrical components at offshore and onshore substations.
• Test installations and devices according to NEN standards.
• Prepare and follow up on offshore operations, documenting activities and reporting defects.
• Analyze faults, recommend solutions and create technical work instructions, risk assessments and maintenance plans.

Required profile

• Technical vocational training in electrical engineering.
• Experience in maintenance and testing of electrical installations.
• Understanding of energy distribution systems such as substations and switchgear.
• Safety‑conscious team player, willing to work offshore and in shifts.
• Proficient in Dutch and English with a valid Class B driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Maintenance of electrical installations.
• Testing of electrical installations according to NEN standards.
• Knowledge of substation and switchgear systems.
