Software Developer Internship

About the role

As a Software Developer Intern you will build advanced trading and risk applications using cutting‑edge technology. You will develop computationally intensive software under the guidance of senior technologists, aiming for deployment during the ten‑week program.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software solutions such as decoders, normalisers, and compliance communication tools.
• Identify innovative solutions to complex problems and advocate for their implementation.
• Conduct robust research and apply statistical analytics to large data sets.
• Collaborate with software developers, quantitative traders, researchers, and business analysts in cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Pursuing a BSc, MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field, graduating between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
• Exposure to network programming (TCP/IP), multi‑threaded, real‑time or GUI programming.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented design, data structures and algorithms.
• Eagerness to learn, strong problem‑solving and analytical reasoning.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
