Strategic Account Director - Datacentres

About the role

Join Aggreko as a Strategic Account Director for the data‑centre sector, driving growth across Europe by delivering innovative energy solutions that support operational, commercial and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase revenue, profitability and long‑term retention for key data‑centre customers.
• Build trusted relationships with senior business leaders and executive stakeholders across Europe.
• Identify and secure complex opportunities such as energy‑as‑a‑service, renewable integration, decarbonisation programmes, hybrid energy systems, power purchase agreements and net‑zero initiatives.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contract structuring and risk assessments to achieve strong commercial outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, project delivery, finance, legal and HSE teams.

Required profile

• Experienced strategic account manager or consultative sales leader with a track record in complex, long‑sales cycles.
• Deep knowledge of energy solutions, distributed generation, renewables, power systems or related technical disciplines.
• Proven ability to engage and influence C‑suite and senior executive stakeholders.
• Strong collaborative leadership skills and willingness to travel regularly across domestic and European markets.
