Warehouse & Facilities Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse & Facilities Supervisor leads daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, accurate and on‑time handling of goods while supporting production and project schedules. This fixed‑term position (12 months) offers the chance to develop a small team and influence continuous improvement across logistics and facilities activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, assign and monitor daily warehouse tasks, balancing priorities and safety.
• Guide, coach and onboard warehouse personnel, reinforcing accountability and procedures.
• Oversee receipt, inspection, storage and organization of materials, maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and corrective actions.
• Supervise order picking, packing, labeling, staging and shipment preparation for internal use or external customers.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, documentation, returns and communication with logistics providers.
• Ensure quality control of incoming goods and warehouse transactions, escalating non‑conformities.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well‑organized warehouse environment and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Execute accurate ERP transactions, stock updates and warehouse records, supporting data‑quality improvements.
• Identify and implement improvements to layout, material flow, visual management and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Projects, Quality, Engineering and Service to align material availability.

Required profile

• Minimum MBO‑level education or equivalent vocational qualification.
• 3–5 years of warehousing or logistics experience, including coordination or supervisory duties.
• Valid forklift licence and VCA Basic certification.
• Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office and ERP systems (preferably Oracle PeopleSoft).
• Fluency in Dutch and the right to work in the Netherlands.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership and structured problem‑solving.
