Business Analyst - Digital Assets (Crypto)

About the role

IntellectEU is seeking a Business Analyst with deep expertise in crypto and capital markets to bridge business requirements and technical execution. You will lead requirement discovery, define system workflows, and design integration specifications for both digital and traditional asset platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirement discovery and impact analysis across DeFi and TradFi spaces.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and technical artifacts.
• Develop process models, data flows, and integration requirements (APIs, platforms).
• Support UAT, release readiness, and production validation.
• Gather requirements in collaboration with Innovation and Value Proposition teams and define operational processes and acceptance criteria.

Required profile

• Strong exposure to capital markets, securities life‑cycle, trading and custody.
• Hands‑on experience with digital assets, crypto custody, wallets or trading platforms.
• Knowledge of blockchain, tokenisation, DLT platforms and regulatory compliance (AML, KYC, transaction monitoring).
• Experience in agile business analysis, backlog management and acceptance criteria definition.
• Familiarity with institutional custody platforms such as Fireblocks, BitGo or Anchorage.

Required skills

• API integration and system interoperability.
• Agile/Scrum delivery and DevOps practices.
• Data analysis and reporting in trading/custody environments.
• Working knowledge of blockchain/DLT platforms and tokenisation concepts.
