Data Scientist Growth Analytics

About the role

As a Data Scientist in the Growth & Marketing department, you will shape Polarsteps' growth strategy by turning data into actionable insights. You will partner with the Head of Growth and cross‑functional teams to prioritize initiatives, accelerate product insights and drive user acquisition and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data‑driven strategies to grow user acquisition and engagement across key markets.
• Apply statistical methods to uncover causal relationships and inform business decisions.
• Build, monitor and maintain scalable dashboards tracking growth, engagement and monetisation metrics.
• Communicate growth metrics across the organisation and support quarterly and yearly planning with forecasting models.
• Collaborate with product, growth and marketing teams to identify drivers and guide strategic decisions.
• Present insights to senior stakeholders and support reporting for investors.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience analysing data for B2C mobile apps using Python/R and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience shaping growth strategy for consumer‑facing products.
• Strong curiosity and ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
• Background in Economics, Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights.

• Salary between €67,000‑€98,000 gross per year plus 8 % holiday allowance.
