Junior Business Controller

About the role

As a Junior Business Controller you will support profitability and financial analysis for the company’s operations. You will produce monthly reports and analyses that enable management to make informed decisions, working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate month‑end closing.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly closing, planning, forecasting and profitability analysis.
• Deliver timely and accurate month‑end reporting for internal and corporate stakeholders.
• Assist in budgeting processes, including drafting budgets, budget analysis, rolling forecasts and reporting to management and HQ.
• Provide support for internal and external business cases.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure solid month‑end closing and communicate significant events affecting financial statements.
• Produce analytical accounting and profitability reports for the Netherlands, Benelux and consolidated level.
• Lead continuous improvement and automation of internal and corporate reporting.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, processes and tools.
• Participate in company projects related to information systems and follow up on project development.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience as a Controller or in a similar financial reporting role.
• Proven ability in reporting, financial and profitability analysis.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, capable of working independently and in teams.
• Good command of English (spoken and written); Dutch is a plus.
• Result‑oriented attitude with attention to detail.
