Lead Analytics Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Analytics Engineer to turn complex business questions into trusted, decision‑ready data. As the functional lead of our two‑person Data & Analytics team, you will own the translation of cross‑functional queries into governed metrics, semantic models and agentic analytics that serve Marketing, Sales, Finance and Product.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a rolling one‑year Data & Analytics roadmap, balancing urgent business needs with foundational work.
• Lead discovery sessions across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product and Finance to translate decisions into metric definitions and semantic layers.
• Design, build, test and document critical governed models using SQL and dbt, and ensure they are production‑ready in Snowflake.
• Own the full‑funnel measurement framework from acquisition to revenue, retention and lifetime value, and maintain finance‑grade definitions.
• Partner with the Senior Data Engineer on warehouse requirements, resolve data conflicts and raise technical quality.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience building analytics models in SQL and dbt, preferably in Snowflake.
• Proven ability to lead functional decisions without direct reports, guiding a small technical team.
• Strong communication skills to present findings to senior leaders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
