Sales Assistant (24 hrs/week) – Fixed Term – Amsterdam

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Assistant to join our Carhartt WIP store on Hartenstraat in Amsterdam. The role is a fixed‑term position for a minimum of 24 hours per week, focused on delivering excellent customer service and supporting store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive and knowledgeable service to customers, adapting brand storytelling to the retail environment.
• Drive sales and work towards achieving weekly and monthly targets.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Replenish merchandise, maintain visual standards, and ensure the store is tidy and inviting.
• Follow all operational policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
• Continuously develop product knowledge and understanding of the Carhartt WIP brand.

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail or customer‑facing roles.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch; English is a plus.
• Confident, outgoing personality with effective selling abilities.
