Senior Engineer – Cleaning & Disinfection Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer who will act as the technical expert and process owner for cleaning and disinfection of production areas, including material ingress contamination control. You will lead the development, optimisation and continuous improvement of critical processes, systems and equipment to boost production efficiency and ensure compliance with national and international quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the subject‑matter expert for cleaning, disinfection and contamination‑control processes.
• Provide technical advice on production issues, deviations and audit findings.
• Design, develop and optimise technical processes, methods and systems.
• Supervise execution on the shop floor and train employees on best practices.
• Act as the primary interface between Quality Assurance and production, ensuring implementation of standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary projects and support stakeholders with expert guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
• Proven experience in cleaning, disinfection and material ingress contamination control within a production environment.
• Strong understanding of national and international quality regulations.
