PhD Internship in Semiconductor Research

About the role

NXP Semiconductors seeks a motivated PhD candidate to join its R&D team in Eindhoven, working on cutting‑edge semiconductor technologies for automotive, industrial, mobile, connectivity and secure IoT applications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research aligned with your PhD expertise.
• Analyze technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.
• Design, implement, and evaluate models, algorithms, architectures, or experimental setups.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of researchers and engineers.
• Document findings and present results to technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience conducting independent research.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
