Commercial Solutions Engineer (Benelux)

About the role

As a Commercial Solutions Engineer you will act as a trusted technical advisor for Dash0’s customers and prospects in the Benelux region. Based in Amsterdam, you will bridge product capabilities with real‑world outcomes, helping customers adopt Dash0’s observability platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes and cloud‑native technologies.
• Translate complex customer requirements into scalable, performant Dash0 implementations.
• Develop and execute Proof‑of‑Concepts that showcase Dash0’s differentiated technical capabilities.
• Deliver engaging technical demos and presentations for engineering and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to position Dash0 as the preferred solution.
• Provide architecture guidance, best‑practice recommendations and telemetry data‑modeling advice.
• Create and maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures and POC templates.
• Partner with Product Management to feed technical insights into the product roadmap.

Required profile

• Deep technical knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry and observability pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion and performance optimisation.
• Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE and platform‑engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts to both engineers and decision‑makers.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across Sales, Product and Engineering teams.
