Data Engineer - Cloud & SaaS Integrations

About the role

DoiT is looking for a Data Engineer to own and expand the data side of its Integrations Framework, turning diverse SaaS and cloud billing APIs into a unified cost view. The role is fully remote and part of the R&D team, working with AI‑augmented tools from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrations with third‑party billing and usage APIs, keeping them up‑to‑date as vendors evolve.
• Use AI tools throughout the workflow for code generation, debugging, testing and documentation.
• Ensure data correctness by designing checks, deduplication, and reconciliation processes.
• Normalize vendor data into consistent units, currencies, taxonomies and cost categories.
• Own end‑to‑end pipeline orchestration, scheduling and back‑fill mechanisms.
• Collaborate with product, support and engineering teams to identify gaps and propose solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or data‑heavy backend roles.
• Strong SQL skills for complex analytical queries.
• Hands‑on experience with orchestration frameworks such as Dagster or Airflow.
• Proficiency in Python (or comparable language) for data work.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses like BigQuery, ClickHouse, Snowflake or Redshift.
• Track record integrating third‑party REST APIs and handling pagination, rate limits and partial failures.
• Demonstrated instinct for data correctness and reconciliation.
• Comfortable using AI tools across the engineering workflow.
