Senior Cloud Architect – Generative AI Delivery

About the role

Our Senior Cloud Architect will join the global Forward Deployment Engineering team, delivering production‑grade Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions on AWS for our EMEA customer base. The position is fully remote, covering the UK, Ireland, Estonia, Sweden, the Netherlands, Israel and other European locations, and is open to full‑time employees or contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment and optimisation of large‑scale ML/GenAI workloads on AWS, including Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers from discovery through production, and translating business problems into secure, cost‑efficient cloud architectures.
• Conduct Cloud Optimization Sessions, cost‑efficiency workshops, security and reliability reviews, and produce well‑architected assessments.
• Convert one‑off field solutions into reusable assets such as Terraform modules, CloudFlow templates, and DCI playbooks.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Managers to embed AI/ML solutions into customers’ existing processes and drive product adoption.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience architecting, deploying and managing cloud‑based AI/ML solutions in production.
• Proven track record designing large, distributed systems on AWS and selecting appropriate services to meet technical and business goals.
• Hands‑on experience with Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker (including JumpStart, Pipelines, Model Monitor) and large language model fine‑tuning.

Required skills

• AWS services for AI/ML (Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM).
• Terraform, CloudFlow, DoiT Cloud Intelligence (DCI) tooling.
• Prompt engineering, model evaluation, MLOps pipelines, GPU utilisation.
• Cost optimisation, security best practices, automation and monitoring.
